Get Ready for Repentance
For those of you that thought Psychopathic had already released all its heavy hitters for the year... damn, we got a big surprise for you.
What's up? This is Dr. Gargamel, and I'm gonna be running this site from here on out, letting you all know the latest and greatest that's going on with Esham, and the first thing I've gotta announce is that come September 12, this site's getting wiped clean and rebuilt from the ground up. We're not just talking about an all new look, though. Along with a new site, there's gonna be plenty of new stuff to go through, including music, videos, and the first sounds from Esham's new upcoming album, Repentance.
For those of ya out there that don't know, about a year ago, Esham (the Godfather of Detroit underground rap) signed on with Psychopathic Records. He recorded a few new songs, grabbed some of his old ones, and between it all put together Acid Rain. Since then, though, he's been working on Repentance. For anyone out there that's thinking, "Yeah, Esham's got a new album, I know what it'll be like," you don't know shit. I've heard some of the new tunes, and it blew me away. He's got tracks with ICP, Twiztid, TNT (of Natas), and all of Bone Thugs N' Harmony. But don't take my word for it... I'll prove it to you over the next few weeks with a free downloadable single as well as videos from Repentance. Also, keep a close look at hatchetgear.com for a new line of fresh Esham merchandise. The album's hitting the stores October 21, and I'll keep ya updated along the way with all that flavor that's to come.

This Thursday, August 28th, the rock rebels of Zug Izland will be blowing it up as hard as possible with an unpresidented DOUBLE HEADER PERFORMANCE!
First, at the beautiful amphitheater on Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids, MI, Zug Izland will take the stage with fellow Detroit rockers Sponge, ina completely free outdoor concert! Afterwards Zug will be doing a radio interview with WGRD 97.9, who are hosting the entire event! Zug Izland performs at 6:30 PM this Thursday, August 28th.
THEN, Zug Izland will perform AGAIN, this time at the devastatingJuggalo Championshit Wrestling show in Detroit, MI at Harpos! After all the blood and gore of the most hardcore wrestling known, the rock rebels will keep the party rollin' right on into the night with their own brand of toxic rock! They'll be taking the stage around 11 PM, also on this Thursday, August 28th.

Party Plan Change
What up y'all?
We've got a quick update for everyone. There's one minor revision to our upcoming Bootlegged Goes Gold party: the date. Because of some unforseen booking problems, we've moving the party date to after the upcoming Wicked Wonka Tour. The exact date of the part will be announced then. Bootlegged in LA is still dropping on the world next Tuesday, August 26th, and the Bootlegged Goes Gold Contest will still be 100% in effect. The only thing that has changed is the date of the party, which will be announced at a later time.

I have some serious problems with keeping these sections up to date. Malkav used to be in charge, and did a good job untill a month ago or so. I don't know why, but he stopped working on it, and doesn't reply to my mails, so unfortually I had to remove him from the Crew. At this moment there is a stockpile of 4 weeks to do, and I can't do that all by myself. Once again, Insane Clown Posse is proven yet again to be the most player-hated band of all time. Blender Magazine decided to have a review of the Top 50 Worst Band of All Time. And, naturally, ICP made nothing short of #1 on their list, with The Wraith as their worst album.
Honestly, how much do these 12-year vets-of-the-game have to accomplish to get recognized by mainstream media? They've got 2 Platinum Records, 4 Gold Records, 1 Gold Home Video (from their own feature-length movie Big Money Hustlas), another Gold DVD right around the corner (Bootlegged in LA), their own merchandise line (HatchetGear), their own record label (Psychopathic Records) with offices in the USA and Europe, an annual fan convention (The Gathering of the Juggalos), the #2 wrestling league (JCW), an upcoming video game (Backyard Wrestling), their own comic book series, and, of course, legions of dedicated, diehard, worldwide fans (The Juggalos). They've brought themselves up from nothing to become an international musical phenomena, and yet, somehow, they still get no respect from fine mainstream publications such as Blender Magazine.
Not too bad for the worst band ever, eh? So, once again, Insane Clown Posse retains their title as the most player-hated band in the world!
Entertaining Fact: Somehow, a review on Blender's website gave The Wraith 3-Stars (which means "Great in its genre" according to their rating system). Impressive, for the "worst album" from the "worst band.

Next up, you've got the infamous Ex-Lotus member, Marz taking the stage! With the Gathering over now it can be very easy to get lost in the next big project and to put all thought of this years Gathering behind us. And although we can't thank every individual or group that helped make this years event the stellar extravaganza that it was, we do wish to thank a group of people that brought a lot of color to the Gathering... and came away from it with some great experiences of their own. I'm talking about the Airbrush Shoppe and I have to say that, by far, they did some of the best work I've seen at a Gathering. Those ninjas are quite crafty with the paint and you could tell by the amount of Juggalos and Juggalettes that were sporting that flavor all over the campgrounds. Thanks a lot guys for making this years Gathering even moreso catching to the eye than we could have possibly imagined.

AS MENTIONED BY MY HOMIE TWIZTIDSLIM, TWIZTID APPEARED AT THE WARPED TOUR IN BROCKTON MASS. ON JULY 31ST, 2003 TO ROCK SHIT FOR THE FAM. THE PROBLEMS BEGAN WHEN THE FAM WERE CHANTING THE LYRICS TO TWIZTID SONGS OVER OTHER SKA & PUNK SETS, LEAVING THE TENTION LEVEL ON EXTRA HIGH. WHEN TWIZTID HIT THE STAGE THE JUGGALOS WENT CRAZY, AND THE PUNK KIDS GOT PISSED AND BEGAN THROWING BOTTLES FILLED WITH EVERYTHING FROM LIQUID, TO DIRT FILLED GATOR-ADE BOTTLES THAT FLEW THROUGH THE AIR LIKE BRICKS AS THEY LANDED ON THE STAGE. AS THE SHOW PROGRESSED, TWIZTID BECAME OUTRAGED AT THE HATERS AND BEGAN CHALLENGING THEM TO COME ON STAGE TO QUOTE "LEAVE THE WARPED TOUR IN AN AMBULANCE". ALTHOUGH THE HATERS WERE PISSED, THEY WEREN'T TRYING TO MUSTER UP THE BALLS TO GET BEAT DOWN, THEY JUST KEPT THROWING SHIT. DURING A BREAK IN THE SET, MONOXIDE TOLD THE HATERS TO MEET TWIZTID AFTER THE SHOW TO THROW SOME PUNCHES LIKE MEN INSTEAD OF BOTTLES LIKE BITCHES! And, as every Juggalo knows, October is synonymous with Halloween, and that means that it is coming time for Insane Clown Posse to once again host their legendary Hallowicked show! This is the 10th year for Hallowicked, the longest-running and proudest tradition here at Psychopathic, and not an event to miss. This year's Hallowicked will be at the State Theater, one of the dopest venues in downtown Detroit. "When do tickets go on sale?" you ask. Well, according to ye olde TicketMaster.com, tickets go on sale to the public on September 6th (click here for the details. Last year's Hallowicked had two shows, BOTH of which sold out, so if you're going to attend this legendary event, be sure to get your tickets early!

Site problems
Yesterday the webserver was fucked up, so that is why it was offline for a couple of hours. Today it was offline for another hour to adjust some settings on the new server. Not everyting is working (like the stats), but the site won't be offline anymore (if everything goes well ) while fixing the last shit.
