Violent J's autobiography "Behind the Paint" is scheduled to debut at this
year's Gathering of the Juggalos 2003, and will be available for purchase
everywhere in late 2003.

The Shangri-La Tour, featuring Insane Clown Posse, 2 Live Crew, and ABK, is
planned to go through the United States, Australia and Europe. The
specifics of when this will happen and where this will take place have not
been released yet, but should happen in the summer of 2003. We put up all
tour dates as soon as we get them, and more are definitely on the way, so be
patient and keep checking.
Unfortunately the Shangri-La Tour will not be comign to Canada. There are
some serious legal complications for ICP to come over the border, and much
to our dismay, this means that a Canadian leg to the tour is impossible at
this time. We sincerly apologize for this. We very much want to come to
Canada, but it is just not possible right now.
If you are wondering why ICP or another Psychopathic Records act is or is
not coming to a particular location, you have asked the wrong person. The
number of factors that go into planning out a tour are straight up
mind-blowing, and well beyond my capacity to understand fully. Venue
availability, previous stops on the tour, the next stop on the tour, prior
show turn-out, local city attitudes towards wicked clowns . . . the list of
possible things preventing us from hitting up a specific town are
staggering. If your town is not on a tour there is probably a very good
reason for it, and if a venue is 18+ rather than all-ages it is because we
had no other choice in the matter.
While we do not respond to each and every email, we do read them, so your
comments and concerns are not falling on deaf ears.

Columbus Ohio Icp Review
Whuddup yall this is ya homie The Zuggla with a concert review from the Shagerla tour in Columbus Ohio last night. It was off the heezy. First ya killa Abk came out in a teepee and freeked it. He sang everything from Old School Foo Dang to most of his new shit off hatchet Warriors. Then out came 2 Live Crew. Let me tell you if your not a fan of 2 Live crew you will be of the girls. God damn im in love. Them girls were the shit as well as 2 Live crew themselfs. But the came the show no one will forget. Out came the wickid clowns themselfs. They had the best stage set ive ever seen. It was soooo fucking awesome. They sang the old shit as well as the new. To make a long story short make sure you go peep it when it comes to a city near you. Wanna give some shout outs..Wanna say whut up to Jo Jo, my bro Nick, Bryan ya fat homie, The two girls and 1 guy who gave Bryan head in line (rubbed his head) and all the ninjas that showed love there. Dont forget ill be at Zug thursday in Columbus. Gonna be a dope show so will see yall there. Untill next time im out Peace yall !!

Zug Izland review:
I went to the Zug Izland/Dope show last night at Pop's over in Sauget, IL. If you can make it through all the local opening band bullshit (or if you're smart and come in late, lol) then you'll definately have a great time at this show. Juggalos, if you're not feelin' Zug and you've even tried and have listened to their whole CD and you still aren't feelin' Zug then, here's my advice to you: GO SEE THEM LIVE! It'll change your whole perspective!
Anyways, back to my lil' show review:
I went alone but still had fun. I got there too early, don't get to a Zug/Dope show any earlier than an hour before doors--I was there off and on 3hrs before and bored as hell 'cause no one showed up until an hour before. Zug got there about 2hrs before doors and I happened to catch Dan and Mike Peezy playin' catch in the parking lot, so I talked to them for a minute then wandered inside. Syn was walkin' around, various members of Dope and the other bands were chillin' playin' pool and whatnot (Pop's is a bar, open 24/7 until show time) so I talked with Syn for a couple minutes. They're definately some hella nice Ninjas and have sooo much love for Juggalos.
The show was off the hook. Tapping the Vein was alright, definately waaaaay better than the 4 opening bands. That chick is sooo tiny but has a HUGE voice, a lil' too mellow but nonetheless good. Zug...what can I say? I haven't seen Zug other than GOTJ and I was amazed. The show was devastating. There's nothing like seeing your favorite songs performed LIVE. I walked in there with high expectations of Zug and was not at all let down one bit. There was only like 20-30 Juggalos, but we made sure Zug was represented to the fullest. I urge all of you to hit up one of the Dope/Zug shows near you, you will not be disappointed! I stayed for Dope. Honestly, I've never been to a show that wasn't Psy or KMK so I was curious about all this Dope hype. I gotta say, that scrawny muthafucker can rock a building. He definately puts on an awesome show and I wasn't sorry I stayed for his set. You gotta see this tour!
I do have some shout outs: I know y'all will never read this and I'll never see yas again, but I gotta give yas a shout out nonetheless--the Dope kids I chilled in line with and on barricade with, y'all are tha shiznit and it was a good time hangin' out (even though you don't like ICP, lol.). This was the only show I've been to alone and 'cause of you it was phresh. I definately gotta give props once again to Zug: You guys are hella nice and put on a show that's completely off the hook, I got nothing but love for yas.
I got a whole roll of film of Zug, I'll get the pics developed and up here on my next day off.

Today the layout was fucked up for about an hour because I was working on the site. So if you visited HOI just then, don't be alarmed, and sorry for the mess :) I was working on a feature that you'll like: themes)! That means that you can choose how this site looks like for ya, by choosing from a set of so called 'styles' or 'themes'. At this moment two themes are available: Shangri-La and Oldschool. Some of you will remember Oldschool: it's the style HOI started with. Now it's back for those of you who long to the old days :) More themes will prolly be added pretty soon, so keep checking back!
If you haven't yet figured out how to change the theme: look all the down in the menu.

There's all kinds of stuff going on over here at Psychopathic. I'll try and give you an update regarding all of it.
First and foremost: The Gathering. Tickets are on sale now, as you probably already know. They've been selling very well over the past week (so well that hatchetgear.com's server crashed from so many people trying to get into the store), but there are still plenty available. If you've already bought your ticket, be patient. We're not ready to send out the tickets yet, but we will let you know as soon as a date is set for shipping them. The campsites went crazy fast, as we expected. We may be able to scrounge up a few more, so keep your eyes open. Tomorrow (Fri. 4/4) we'll have a list of stores where you can buy tickets using cash. The price will be $160.00 flat. Finally, in response to numerous emails: There will be NO free stuff sent with the Gathering tickets. The Free Stuff promotion is for regular store sales only, not special events / items like this. Sorry.
Next on the list o' flavor is The Wraith DVD-A. This is ICP's The Wraith remixed in 5.1 Surround Sound. In addition to the jiggy new mix, it also features the "Homies" video, the album lyrics displayed on the screen, and various other flavor. The DVD-A technology is pretty new, and The Wraith is one of the first CDs to receive this treatment. So pick yours up starting right now.
The last thing to talk about today is something a lot of you've been waiting on for a while now. The brand-new full-length debut album from Anybody Killa is now available. That's right. That motherscrubber that'll kill anybody over anything (for no reason, even) drops his Juggalicious flows on the world right...NOW! It's up in the "New Items" section, so chop on over there and grab you a copy.

Shaggy Show Part 3...
Sadly, the third installment of the super-hype Shangri-La Shaggy Show Series (say that ten times fast, BYATCH) .... has been lost forever. Yes, it is very sad, but with all of the chaos going on around the office with this year's Gathering of the Juggalos, AND Esham playing at Harpo's in Detroit this Saturday, AND Zug Izland blowing up on radio stations everywhere, AND ABK dropping his mega-ton bomb-ass album in one week, AND with Twiztid freaking it to all sorts of new and bizarre levels with their upcoming Green Book album, oh, and with that little even called THE SHANGRI-LA TOUR still rolling about the country blowing wigs way off in its path, we here in the office of Psychopathic Records had just plain forgot where we put the Shaggy Show video! Then the cleaning crew came through, and we realized they threw it out by accident! It was an honest mistake: someone had stepped on it, so they figured it was garbage now. Webcrack Willy DID get to see it ONCE, and he's said that he's willing to write up a synopsis of the episode for everyone to read a bit later on this week. I know it's not much, but it's better than nothing!
On behalf of myself and all of the other webmonkeys here at Psychopathic Records, we officially apologize for dropping the ball this bad. A true Juggalo treasure has been lost forever, and we have only ourselves to blame. Sorry everyone.

Next, I have been getting a lot of e-mails about the Street Team application, and Juggalos not being able to find it. Well that's because, for the Green Book Street Team, we are doing things a little bit different than ever before. You must send in a video of you promoting the Green Book in your own special little way. You must also send in a copy of your Drivers License, proof that your not Jenny from tha block, we don't need any of them, and lastly 2 and a half Newports for Monoxide to smoke while he watches your tape. The deadline to have your package of flava to Psychopathic is May 12th. All applicants must be available from May 26th thru July 3rd.
"Backyard Wrestling - The Video Game" will be available shortly, possibly in late May. Not only will you be able to play as Violent J, Shaggy 2 Dope, Rude Boy, Mad Man Pondo, or myself, but you will also find them demons of the underground, Twiztid, within the contents of the game. Where I don't know. That's the flava of the game, you never know who or where you will find them. Word has it "Backyard Wrestling" progress is coming along so well, we might see a release in late May. Check out
