Im here with you on the whole religion thing man...to me, theres no god, heaven, hell, unless proven otherwise and not just by some bullshit like "cause the bible says so".
And as I am really..i dont know..infatuated by this conversation we've been having since (I myself have a fresch hatchetman chillin on my ankle)decided to sit and really listen to the 17th song. And there were some lyrics on there that kinda worried me like when J says.."we dont preach it flat out cause some ninjas are quit to forget cha without the hatchet and get out" Which more than obviously means they kept it from us cause they didnt want us to ditch them.
Anyways..I've thought about this a long time and I do think that some of what you say is true. But I'd still have to stick by the fact that being a Juggalo (to ME)isnt if your christian or not. Its something more. I dont even know how to explain it. You should where your tatts proudly man. And not just because their gonna be there for a long time. But because its soemthing that you really believe in. I mean really guys..Its fuckin'....goin to a concert and as soon as you walk up like ten ninjas sayin whats up to you and they dont even know who you are. Its that brotherhood.

K.. Heres my theory. They ARE saying we have to be belivers to be Juggalos and stay in the Dark Carnival, but it is not christianity we have to believe in but a new religion where all of us are god. It seems to be a copy of Christian/Catholic stuff, but I am guessing that Violent J had some pretty shit experiences due to religion or preists or some shit as a kiddie and it made him want to create a religion like it, but on his terms. A church for people that wouldn't be welcome at any normal church, a church for US ALL. All the wierdos and fuck ups. My kinda people! He never stopped believing but just stopped talking in all the shit that went with 'prganised religion'.
K. That said, I think we still gotta belive in a god to get there. We still gotta see the light an shit to get into the carnival. This religion has a hell like all the rest, I am guessing. But while we have a god, we aint got a Jesus, we aint got a holy spirit and we are the Gods, Its all inside us.
Just my idea anyway. Don't forget that it is raining diamonds on us all and we gotta be understanding to the confused ones like Ex Juggalo and Confused mother Fucker. Every church out there welcomes back the prodigal sons after all.

I got a lot of religious shit in my past and this God thing has hit me pretty hard so I might be coming on a bit strong. You are right, I have no proof, just a lot of educated speculation. But it is all there in the music. They even credit god with everything in the unveiling.
I am not satanistic, I don't believe in any shit, there is no god, no devil. None of that. But I was brought up in a VERY christian house, I had to read the bible daily, pray daily, church three/four times a week, christian camps, bible school, loads of other shit. So belive me when I say that I can probably spot more pentecostal/evangelical christian stuff in the music than most "with that wicked shit around them".
I do have a Hatchet man tat, and a Joker, I came close to cutting that shit out of my arm with a knife the other night.
By the way, There will be a seventh. They are following the book of revelations pretty closely. And there is a seventh unveiling before the end. Bet I am right.
Anyway. I am gonna listen to everything again, gonna have to download some cos I trashed my albums. I hope I change my mind. But everytime I listen to the unveiling I get close to smashing the computer in sheer fucking anger.

Actually Jesus is mentioned many times throughout all the jokers cards. But so us not to put us off he is called by different names including the great milenko, Hachet man and lots more. Many of the songs are Jesus stories too. Listen to 'I want my shit' It is the life story of Jesus. The bit at the beginning about him having two fathers partly gives it away. God and the Holy ghost, geddit. Thats why so many groups of three are in ICP stuff, the trinity.

I have been out on those missions when I was a kid, I was sent to baible college and had the word of god and jesus shoved down my neck. The Carnival was what saved me. Living the juggalo life helped me free myself from that crap. So what do you think my reaction was when it turned out to be the same shit in a prettier package?
