1. Were you surprised Hatchet Warrior debuted in the top 100?
Man that was great. Psychopthic kind of anticipated it because with the new distribution deal and all, the releases are becoming easier to find. So yeah, that blew my mind, I didn't really know what to expect when it was released.
2. Are you gonna be on Hell's Pit?
Um.. I haven't even heard anything about the CD yet.
3. It isn't done?
I don't know..
4. How's touring been so far?
Ya know what, dog? Before the album was done and I was doing songs I had already completed on tour.. hearing juggalos respond positively to that was like the best thing in the world. Now that the shit's out, and most have it, seeing juggalos singing along to every word of every track... I can't even describe it haha. But being out on the road is great for me right now.
5. What's your favorite song off of the CD?
Umm... I'd say Kill Me or Hated Me.
6. Was hated me aimed at any hate sites in particular? Like, horrorcore.com's Psy forum is filled with haters and stuff...
I wrote that song a year back um... last April I think. Yeah, it was just around when these hater sites were coming out and juggalos started asking us all about them and what we thought so I just wanted to say something in music so I wouldn't have to be constantly hounded about it. Because really man, they're not worth the time of discussing...
7. Someone said it was towards Sol and Skrapz because you mentioned in the song, the "haters" being friends yet still spreading hate.
Nah.. I really have no bad blood with Sol or Skrapz. I'm not even sure if Twiztid or Blaze do anymore, but we've been tight for years so... no, it wasn't towards them. There were people who helped those hater sites advance... ah man, ya know? There was this one girl from a juggalo site who would run around on that hater site's board spreading hate then kissing our asses in private. I felt like... if you have problems with us, say it because we're obviously cool if you're on a juggalo site and you're promoting Psychopathic, you're part of the team, you're helping us advance. So we can talk.. but this girl dissed us, kissed this hater site's ass and then tried talking to us like we were cool... it was just fowl. But a whole 'nother element to the song shifts from net haters to just people in general who smile in your face and secretly hate you. It's more like "If I ever found out you was being shady, I'ma step to you"
8. What's up with the Drive By project? I know that was mentioned a few times... is that ever happening?
Right now it's tight. It was originally gonna be me and blaze but then it shifted to us and Twiztid.. actually it hasn't been brought up that much since everyone's just basically working on their own projects to get shit out there. So maybe? I dunno. We do our side projects whenever a new album hits. You got people collaboring, it ain't much work for any one individual as opposed to a solo cd so.. whenever we're taking a rest in between albums and touring is when we'll think about that.
9. Someone was saying Madrox wrote "Kill Me"?
He did.
10. Why?
He just handed me some lyrics one day and said he thought they'd fit me, try them out... I did, so we stuck it on the CD. We're family anyway man, family help each other out so it's all good.
11. But it's not like he wrote the whole CD, right?
*Laughs* Nah man nah. I wrote 99% of it, other then that song and J also helped on 'Ya nedens haunted.' Them contributing lyrics to my CD is like them getting down on a track. It's all love.
12. Have you heard The Green Book yet?
Yeah, I heard it.
13. What do you think of it?
I'm proud, for real. I ain't gonna tell you too much haha... but I think it's the best Twiztid shit yet. I won't say ever cause they top themselves each time out, in my opinion. But yeah, definitely their best yet.
14. Have you talked to Monoxide lately?
Nah man. I wouldn't know what to say... he's trying to improve his life right now... so he needs that time to himself cause only he knows what can help. That's real.
15. Are you in the rydas?
Yeah I am! Although no one's really spoken of a new project yet with that so...
16. Yeah Madrox said it wasn't planned as of now.
There you go.. any side project we get going is like a spur of the moment kind've thing. You could be chillin then all of a sudden it's like "You wanna do some Rydas shit?" Then everyone does their shit.. but the side projects except like.. Lotus are never planned. Rydas just comes up when no one has anything to do. It's rough now since we're all basically trying to get our best shit out there as individuals ya know what I'm saying?
17. What do you think of alot of juggalos who aren't down with the new Psychopathic shit? There's alot of that on the net...
*Pauses* Man.. it's like.. you know what? We're artists. We put out shit to cater to the juggalos, if they ain't feeling it, I'm sure that there's alot more that we have planned that they'll like so... i dont know, it's a matter of opinion I guess.
